CALICO BARN

Calico Barn is a traditional stone barn that has been converted into group accommodation sleeping 16 guests and has direct access onto a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach.

The Northumberland Coast Path passes through the farm and the Sustrans Cycle Route (N1) is on the doorstep. There is a cafe, ice cream shop and pub within 2 miles so we are the perfect location for active (or beach dwelling!) groups. The Barn can be booked along side our camping pods for large groups.

Within the barn is a large living and dining space that can be configured to different layouts depending on your event, a large kitchen and five bedrooms with shared bathrooms. The beds are adult sized bunks made from reclaimed wood with rooms that sleep four or six as well as a couple of small cabin rooms.

Calico Barn is ideal for adult groups, child-free weekends retreats and small events. Weddings in the barn can also be arranged through discussion with our weddings team.

Calico Barn Pricing

Calico Barn sleeps up to 16 guests in 5 bedrooms. The bedrooms sleep four or six and there are two rooms that are ideal for one person.

Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holidays and School Holidays - from £650 per night (minimum 2 night stay, 3 nights on bank holiday weekends).

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays - from £550 per night (minimum 2 night stay) or £650 per night (for 1 night stay).

Room Only

Although Calico Barn is usually let out as a whole barn we do have three bedrooms available for hire by the room with a private bathroom and access to the shared facilities. The three rooms available are The Parlour (sleeps up to 6) - £150 per night, The Dairy and The Hemmel (sleep up to 4) - £100 per night. Room only is available from September to April.
