Calico Barn is a traditional stone barn that has been converted into group accommodation sleeping 16 guests and has direct access onto a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach.

The Northumberland Coast Path passes through the farm and the Sustrans Cycle Route (N1) is on the doorstep. There is a cafe, ice cream shop and pub within 2 miles so we are the perfect location for active (or beach dwelling!) groups. The Barn can be booked along side our camping pods for large groups.

Within the barn is a large living and dining space that can be configured to different layouts depending on your event, a large kitchen and five bedrooms with shared bathrooms. The beds are adult sized bunks made from reclaimed wood with rooms that sleep four or six as well as a couple of small cabin rooms.

Calico Barn is ideal for adult groups, child-free weekends retreats and small events. Weddings in the barn can also be arranged through discussion with our weddings team.
